Sip & Savor brings together community members, business leaders, sponsors, and supporters for an afternoon at Newton White Mansion while raising funds for Hospice of the Chesapeake's work in Prince George's County.
Support from this event helps provide services that are not fully covered by insurance, including grief counseling, caregiver support, healing arts therapies, veteran honors, community outreach, and other programs for patients and families.
Every dollar raised through the Prince George's County effort stays local and helps ensure more families receive care, comfort, and support when they need it most.
Founder and Principal Advisor Ciara Long serves on the 2026 Sip & Savor event committee, supporting fundraising, sponsorship outreach, and awareness for Hospice of the Chesapeake's work in Prince George's County.
Her connection to the organization is also personal. Hospice of the Chesapeake cared for her grandfather and supported her family during the final chapter of his life. That experience gave her a firsthand understanding of the comfort, guidance, and dignity hospice care can bring to patients and the people who love them.
Supporting Sip & Savor is one way Ciara can honor that experience while helping more local families learn about and access compassionate care.

Purple Light Nights is a community ceremony hosted by the Prince George's County Office of the Sheriff to honor survivors, remember those lost, and stand together in support of ending domestic violence.
This event creates space for reflection, awareness, and community solidarity while helping shine a light on an issue that affects individuals, families, and communities across Prince George's County.
